Greg Rose BIO

Greg Rose was born in Paducah, Kentucky.  He was raised in Chicago, Illinois where he began his career in the music industry.  He moved to Los Angeles, California and later relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Even though Greg created his own personal style of music, many in the industry have compared his sound to the late Teddy Pendergrass, Isaac Hayes, and Luther Vandross.  In fact, Greg Rose has done and continues to do tributes to the great “Teddy Pendergrass” and “Isaac Hayes” and does so exceptionally well.  He has received comments from friends, fans and family members that he does an outstanding job in commemorating Teddy in his Tribute to Teddy.

Greg Rose currently performs as a solo artist, and continues to play a very pivotal role in re-emerging as a seasoned performer in the arena of R&B.  His latest CD, entitled “Doing It Again,” represents a combination of both old and new tunes.

Greg’s history is a rich one:  At the early age of 23, he recorded his first album as a lead singer with the group, “Heaven and Earth.”  Greg was formerly a member of “The Rose Brothers” who recorded several albums on Malaco’s record label in the late 80’s. Their hit single, “I Get Off On You,” was quickly followed by another hit single “Easy Love,” both debuted at numbers 28 and 29, respectively, on the top R&B Charts.
